Shop Update

I've been a super busy bee lately! I took two weeks off from the day job and spent a good majority locked away in my work room updating the Ebay Shop! I sadly let the business slide downhill very quickly, when I started a new job a few years ago and moved in with my then partner. But! Alas! A new friend encouraged me to get back into it and now I'm so happy I did. If you know me personally you'll know I like to be kept busy, as much as I like a lazy day every now and then I've always got to be doing something (very rarely am I sat still!) So having the shop back up and running gives me a feeling of having more purpose and productivity.

I used to get frustrated the shop because it was very much in dribs and drab, however now the photos are much better and the listings are all neatly to the same format, so I feel like its a lot more organised and less messy - which is a definite plus for me & my OCD!

and slowly but surely I'll be using my spare time to share the listings across to Etsy.

I've still got lots of work I still need to do, but now that business has taken of again, it's definite motivation to continue on with it!

New Stock!

After a year off sorting my life out after some MORE major changes I'm finally getting back on track (I think!) I'm investing more hours back into my business and trying to focus my time on what I enjoy. I've moved yet again in to a lovely little rented house a few doors away from my Best Friend and her beautiful little baby girl and things are hopefully looking up for me!

Ebay!

I'm currently working on updating all my shop listings! Everything needs a little revamp every now and then but I kinda wish I'd have done it all sooner as now I've got a LOT of work ahead! It's going to be super busy rounds these neck of the woods now but here's a little glimpse at whats been going on!

Eek!

I know it's been a while (cough....again!) but I'm back with a vengeance (I think!). It's all been veryyyy busy over here! Working a full time job and running my own business - and still trying to have a life at the same time but I think I'm working out some kind of balance, and at last - I think I'm happy. I'm trying to make the most of my days off and being as productive as possible - which I really need to be at the moment because my shop seems to be going crazy mad with a Christmas rush! I'm still slowly but surely working my way through my massive stash of crafty bits and making more new and exciting items for the shop stock! Today it's been Fimo! Heres a cheeky sneak peek at what I've been making! 

Word of advice - don't eat real sweets whilst making pretend sweets - It's super tricky to tell the difference between a chocolate magic star and a Fimo one, and you really don't want to mix them up!

Anyway! That's all for tonight folks! Time for me to shower because I've just been for a run! Early start for me tomorrow (but it means an early finish! yeay!)

The Shop!

So after about a year or so of thinking about it I finally took the plunge and opened up an EBay shop. Despite the ridiculous amount of fees I'm doing quite well - & I'm enjoying what I'm doing - HERES a cheeky little link to the shop so you can nosy at what is on offer. I've still got a massive to do list and endless materials left so theres plenty more still to come. I really quite treasure my days off from the day job now to get snuggled in my little work room and get making somethings - though lately theres been a little too much paperwork and ebay listing and not enough making!
It's been interesting to see the stuff thats doing well this year as a opposed to last year and Im excited to see my style of jewellery and gifts develop based on the feedback of customers and the perfomance of certain items. 

I'm also contemplating heading back up to Preston to take part in the Freshers market (similar to the Christmas market I took part in at the Students Union) - I hope I have the same success & even more because of the trouble I'd have to take travelling there! I'll be back with stock updates weekly to show you sneaky peaks of what I've been working on :-)

New Stock!

So I've been going Ebay Crazy! Not very good for my bank balance but I do love it when I get lots of parcels through my door :-D I've ordered a huge new shipment of exciting things! You shall have to sit tight and wait for them I'm afraid though! However I do have some cute new things to show you! Enjoy!

Yeay!

Lately I've learned patience is a virtue! Something is finally starting to happen with my business! I've learnt I really just need to stick with it and have faith! I've sold a fair amount of stuff this week (which is good cos I'm plummeting into my overdraft!) And hopefully with time it will grow and grow! I'm SO looking forward to summer to have a nice break and make stuff I actually want, I have a ton of stuff planned and I'm excited to get making and adding new lines to the Violet Squirrel Items!

This is just a sneak at some of the things to come when I have more spare time!

Sorry for being Quiet!

So I'm slowing down on the blogging! Initially this was because I'd bored you all to death posting the same pictures of stuff I was selling on ebay, but now it's gone severly down hill! I'm trying to resolve this! I'm on top of my work a bit more now (not fully!) so I'm getting a teeeeny bit of spare time now! The stuff I've put on ebay is selling quite well atm! It's given me a bit more optimism with 'the business' and I've learnt I deffo need more patience! A couple of other things are going up for sale this weekend I should think! I'll post some piccies in a sec! Sadly the photo frames and vintage fabric pieces aren't going to be on sale online for quite a while as its stock for my business elective stall! So you can either pop down to our stall (date to be announced) or be nice and patient and I'll whack up whats leftover after we've done it :-)
