Graduation

So I thought I'd finally share with your my graduation snaps! I was in a terrible mood to begin with because I couldn't stop worrying about walking across the stage! I opted for flats because I figured they were my safest option. I did NOT want to be the one that falls flat on her face - and luckily I didn't!

Center Parcs

So about a month ago my parents paid for me, my sister, my brother & all our partners to go to Center Parcs in Sherwood Forest together. My brother now lives down south and despite my sister living round the corner she seems to be busy and we're very rarely all together so it was nice to have an uninterrupted weekend together just hanging out and having fun!

 

We had a super snazzy villa and we even had a little birds nest with some baby birds in out on the balcony. The weekend was very sports orientated and we came across a few injuries - one resulting in my not being able to walk for the entire weekend - but despite this it was all still good fun. I didn't take many snaps as I didn't take a handbag with me and I'm not the best on a bike so I thought it was best to leave my camera at the villa... but here are the few that we did get :-)

I Wish I Owned...

Woah, it's been a while since I've done a cheeky I Wish I Owned post but I've been scouring the internet trying to find some pretty pieces that I genuinely wish I owned.. Hope you like!

Rhino Head Planter - Modcloth

This cheeky little guy is just too cute! I've got a thing for white ornaments at the moment - I saw an all white owl not so long ago and I really regret not buying it! I love this Rhinos slight little grin too :-)

Sew a Little Happyness Cushion - Next

This cushion is just too me not to want it. It's got buttons and cross-stitched letters! What more could a textiley girl want!

Polkadot Skinny Jeans - George

Eek! So I'm actually going to buy these I've decided - I saw them yesterday when I popped out to stock up on leggings and I think they're too pretty to pass up on. I'm already making cute outfits up in my head to go with them.

Home Sweet Home Doormat - Matalan

I think I have a thing about doormats? I always seem to look at them when I go in shops and wish I had a door to put them in front of? (I'm not homeless, just living with my parents...). Anyway - if I did have a door - this would definately sit prettily in my hallway!

Lace Trim Satchel - Ebay

I'm on the hunt for a super pretty satchel for when I ride my bike to work. I don't look the best whilst cycling - especially in my Costa Coffee uniform so I'd like to at least have a pretty bag to distract peoples eyes from my hideous cycling effort. I think this one might just fit the bill.

The Shop!

So after about a year or so of thinking about it I finally took the plunge and opened up an EBay shop. Despite the ridiculous amount of fees I'm doing quite well - & I'm enjoying what I'm doing - HERES a cheeky little link to the shop so you can nosy at what is on offer. I've still got a massive to do list and endless materials left so theres plenty more still to come. I really quite treasure my days off from the day job now to get snuggled in my little work room and get making somethings - though lately theres been a little too much paperwork and ebay listing and not enough making!
It's been interesting to see the stuff thats doing well this year as a opposed to last year and Im excited to see my style of jewellery and gifts develop based on the feedback of customers and the perfomance of certain items. 

I'm also contemplating heading back up to Preston to take part in the Freshers market (similar to the Christmas market I took part in at the Students Union) - I hope I have the same success & even more because of the trouble I'd have to take travelling there! I'll be back with stock updates weekly to show you sneaky peaks of what I've been working on :-)
