Hull Museums Part 1

Whilst giving Tashar a grand tour of Hull I took her for a day out to the Museums. We were going to do the fish trail and show her around the Marina, however the weather was against us so we took cover inside! Here are a few of my cheeky snaps! I shall update the rest when Tashar finally puts her share of the pictures online! (ahem, hint, hint Tashar!)

Jumping Pictures Outtakes

In my previous post you probably noticed my jumper picture (who wouldn't have! It's fantastic!) Anyway - I hope you enjoyed it as much as me and Tashar did as it took us about an hour to get it! Luckily the park was empty so I could put my camera on self timer and high speed shooting until we finally got 'the one' but along the way there were many hilarious ones and I hope you enjoy them as much as we did!

Hull!

A couple of weeks ago my parents went away to Ireland, so my housemate and I went back to hull to do a spot of cat sitting and threw in some adventures along the way! It was my housemate Tashars first time in Hull, and she'd heard some pretty rough stuff about the place so I made it my mission to prove her wrong! We had a super fun and busy week and I tried to snap plenty of piccies along the way!

Cuteness!

This last weekend I've been on my own in the house so I've had so much needed Pinterest time! I tend to get a bit carried away and constantly pin stuff like I'm on some kind of mission, however, it leads me to share with you some lovely stuff I've found, like these beautys...

The Exhibition...

Because I have been so quiet lately I thought I'd update the blog with all the uni work stuff first and get it out of the way! I'm sick of the sight of it these days and pretty sure you guys will be too! The final bits I had to do was just to set up my exhibition - if any of you guys that are reading this and didn't find the 'work' bit of your degree stressful, trust me the exhibition will finally push you over into the 'stressed' zone! I'd managed fine up until that week, and by then I really had just had enough and wanted to sit on my bum just for one day and do nothing! - Sadly that wasn't the case though and had to head into uni everyday (apart from Friday because I managed to finish early - woo hoo!) and prepare the space and my display area. After that was all done I could sign the submission sheet and finally be free. Let me tell you... that was the best feeling ever!!! Add it to the fact it was a glorious day outside and my friends were waiting for me at the park with a picnic! Heaven! Anyway... here are just a few shots of my exhibition space whilst I was prepping it and a couple my parents snapped on opening night! :-)

Where to start!

Wow! So I've not blogged in a little while but I'm going to put a stop to that right now! This last month or so has been super duper hectic! Finishing off my university working, then shooting off back to Hull with my housemate, then rushing off back to Peterborough to stay at hers, the rushing back to Preston in time to get my work into the external examiner, and thennnn I had my degree show opening night last friday, I've got to man the show tomorrow, then I'm dissapearing back off to Hull only to come back at the weekend and take the show down! Busy, busy, busy! There I was thinking I'd have nothing to do when my work was handed in... Oh how wrong I was!

I don't even know where to start in filling you in on everything?! I don't think I got round to showing you all my work I'd done for the final project? It's been that long since I last blogged I really can't remember! Anyway, I'll finally show you the ceramics that took over my whole life for about 2 weeks. It seriously looked like the madhatter was having a full on banquet with about 100 people in my room. There was crockery everywhereee!
