Eeek!

I've got so much work to do :-( When it gets to the end of the semester everything is really full on and sometimes I just need a little me time! I had a little pamper sesh last night but it still doesnt seem to have done the trick and now I'm sat watching pointless telly and doing nothing productive! :-( Help! Hopefully I'll get some uni work done - perhaps whilst watching telly!

The wind here is really bad at the moment! I literally got blown away on the way back from uni! Never been so glad to walk through the front door!

Shall post some piccies of the stall next time, and maybe some pretty things that I wish Santa might sneak under my tree :-)

The Christmas Fayre!

Eeek! So yesterday was the day of my stall! And it really could not have gone any better! I was so nervous to be selling my stuff, but it all went really well - better than I could have imagined! Thankyou to all those who came along and bought stuff! It really gives me confidence and makes me feel better about the amount of time and money I've spent on my little business! It really encourages me to carry on keep developing!

For all those newbies that have just come along - my old blog... www.thevioletsquirrel.blogspot.com - is still up, but all my new posts will be going on here! There lots of old posts on there if you want to have a nosy at my journey, and how I got to where I am now! 

I shall post piccies of my stall soon, but for now I suppose I best get out of bed and on with my day! Lets make it another productive one! :-)

Woo! Sooo... I grew a little tired of the old business name violet squirrel and I thought everything needed updating slightly, so welcome to the polka dot button! I hope you like the name! Everythings had a bit of a makeover but I'm not quite done yet so bare with me whilst everything gets sorted :-)

Dan's Graduation!

So my boy finally graduated! I had a lovely day at the ceremony and we went out for a cheeky pub lunch afterwards with his family! It was lovely! :-)

So I thought I'd posted way more than I had!

I could have sworn I shared the piccies from bedford & graduation - but apparently not! Heres the piccies from a little safari we went on in Woburn! We ended up nearly running out of petrol half way around and couldn't find a member of staff to ask if we could leave to fill up and come back again (you're not allowed out the car in case you get eaten by a lion!) so we had to find our receipt and dig out the phone number! I wonder if anyone has broken down on a drive through safari before....

That's all for tonight I'm afraid folks! My internet doesn't want to cooperate with me! Sorry for the glare on some of the photos too! I had my window open and then got told off by the keepers on loud megaphones demanding me to wind it back up! :-P
