A lot of time to think...

So this might not be the cheeriest of posts but I'd still like to share what I'm thinking.

I feel I'm in a good place at the moment, physically and mentally. I'm getting back into a good routine and I can say I'm feeling rather happy at the moment. Uni has brought a lot of changes in a lot of things and a lot of ways. One of the things I think that has changed the most is me. Uni hasn't necessarily brought out the best in my moods and my temper, but I'm still glad that its brought out that side of me, because I've learnt more about myself. I know what makes me truly happy. And what doesn't!

I realise that some people aren't worth my time, but they people that do, deserve the best of me. I think I've grown into a good person. and I'm proud of who I am. Something I probably couldn't say about myself a few years ago.

The last few years a lot of people have come in and out of my life. I have the people who have stuck around to thank for who I've become. These are the people I let have the best of me. The others don't deserve me.

So I guess what I'm trying to say, is thankyou :-) to certain people for putting up with me, through my good times, and even more so for my bad times.

The people who matter know who they are :-)

More Cuteness!

So I've had a pretty busy few days! & my laptop almost died on me, but i think ive temporarily fixed it, so it'll be around a little bit longer!

Handed in my 'skin' project the other day, everyone had to do a presentation of it, and I was nicely surprised at how well everyone had done! Some of the rugs I'd actually want in my house they were dead good!

 However, as one thing ends another begins, we have a new lighting project. At the moment I cant muster up the motivation to walk to the library and print out my research pictures so I'll do it tomorrow instead whilst I'm down that way! In the meantime, here are some cute non-uni related things! :)

Hello Weekend!

I can't believe how quick this week has gone! Where is time going?! So it's Saturday already...Argh!!! I went out for a lovely meal last night at Tiggis in Preston, good ol' 50% off with your student card! The place is a bit stuck up, but it was lovely food none the less!

I watched my Lovefilm dvds the other day! Drag me to Hell was Terrible! It was like it was meant to be a spoof film, I just didn't get it at all, and I highly recommend others to give it a miss! What a waste of my life. I also watched Dorian Gray, which was alrightttttt. I didn't really get that either, it seemed to me like an early day twilight, with the apparently stunning main character (I didn't really see the stunning-ness, nor can I see it in Robert Pattinson) that everybody fancies, and he just goes round seducing women, whilst a painting of him self is rotting away in his attic?. Odd.

My Skin project deadline is due in on Monday, so I've been doing some finishing touches to that! Nearly all finished, just the odd thing to print out and stick down and its all done. This is my final presentation picture...

A few cheeky little tweaks in Photoshop and tadaaa! thats my rug in a pretend room :-P, a lot easier than i thought it would be! Fingers crossed the group crit goes well for me on Monday, please be gentle people :-)

Had tutorials with Alan for our jewellery project too on Thursday and if anything its left everything a lot unclearer! I need to sit down and have a re-think of the direction I was taking the project I think, and need to step back with a fresh look at my materials and try and mix it up!

I also plan to attempt to start my essay this week! 4 weeks till hand in and I just want to get it out the way and done with so I don't have a last minute panic before christmas to get it all done. Think I'll have a sit down tonight after the X-factor and have a good think and plan what I need to do.

Other than that things are all going well! Got the odd few bits of christmas shopping to get done, and need to start making some presents and decorations too before I go home for x-mas. I could do with a nice week off from uni just to sit and have a play around with projects just for fun, instead of for uni, but atm, all my spare time needs to be focused into work, work, work!

Best be off to get ready for work! Lovely Saturday night in front of the telly for me tonight. Yeay roll on 6.30 so I can come home and get my Pj's on! :-)

My Christmas Wishlist

Sorry For Being Distant!

So yet again I've neglected my blog! We had my flatmates mum and little sister come up to stay last weekend, which was lovely because it meant a change of face in the house! We went out for a lovely chinese, and a trip to manchester! & we also had a little pumpkin carving session! I went back home on Monday too, which was well overdue! I loved it and really didn't want to come back to Preston - but oh well! Heres what I've been up to....

Yesterday...

Oh my I'm in a bad mood lately! Someone get me out of it pleaseeeee! Left uni early yesterday because I just couldn't tolerate the group project they had us doing. I had far better things to do - like going christmas shopping :-) Got Mumma Sunman, a lovely new christmas present, I saw it and couldn't resist, and a little something extra for the Mr too! I did also buy some stuff for my plastics project, so it wasn't all completely for myself :-P

Went to go see Paranormal Activity 2! Oh My!!! How did I manage to sleep! I'm not the biggest fan of horror films, even less of a fan of horror film sequels... but this had me absolutely terrified! It was genius!
