So I know I've been quiet (as usual!)- but I do have a good excuse that I've been busy making stuff for once! I went through a little phase of slacking and watching a lot of Netflix (damn you Netflix!) My hours at Costa have got longer and my shifts have got busier so by the time I come home I literally package orders and then be lazy (thats allowed though right?). Busy shifts and long hours really make me look forward to my days off though and I TRY not to take them for granted and cram in as much as possible - but keeping a nice balance between The Polkadotte and 'Me' time. As many of you know I'm a bit of a hoarder with my craft supplies and my workroom, bedroom and spare bedroom (all my in my poor parents house!) are crammed full of my business stuff, and my uni stuff! I'm a woman on a mission to make as much stuff as humanly possible to a) Make a bit more room! and b) Make a bit more money! I had a bit of a splurge the other day! (I was SO close to getting out of my overdraft!) and treated myself to a new laptop! I saw an offer that was too good to miss and knew I'd regret it if I didn't because my old laptop was on its last legs. My computer is my business so it'd be a pretty big disaster if it died on me! So anyway... Here's some bits and bobs I've been making out of some of the stuff I've been hoarding for the last several months! :-)
All of these are being made as brooches/hairclips and maybe even keyrings too. It kinda doesn't help my hoarding in the fact that these are all made out of the tiniest scraps of fabric. It really makes me want to save every last teeny tiny bit because I think 'this could be something!'. Anyone know if there's some kind of crafting hoarder help group? I don't think I'm alone in this?! Anyway! Back to work for me!! xoxo
